The project developed by BIOS in conjunction with Fedecacao, Hands & Crops and the National Institute of Agricultural Botany of the United Kingdom (NIAB) sought to generate added value to cocoa waste, which corresponds to more than 70% of the biomass produced by cocoa cultivation, specifically in the municipality of Belalcázar in the department of Caldas.
