Description: Cancer-related pathology is one of the main causes of death worldwide, with almost 10 million deaths in 2020. Stomach cancer was among the types of cancer that caused the highest mortality, with 769,000 deaths, being the fourth type of cancer with the highest mortality rate. The project seeks to facilitate an early diagnosis of this pathology, so that the probability of treatment is greater and the possibility of survival increases. In addition, morbidity is reduced and treatment is less expensive.

Benefits: Possible biomarkers will be obtained for the early detection of gastric cancer, thus having a potential tool to reduce the mortality rate associated with this pathology.
